With the consent of his wife Jaya Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan has gifted Juhu bungalow ‘Prateeksha’ to daughter Shweta Bachchan. This bungalow is very close to Big B’s heart. Here he used to live with his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan and mother Teji Bachchan.

The deed of this house was signed on 8 November 2023, in which Rs 50.65 lakh has been paid for registration and stamp duty. Actually, ‘Prateeksha’ is made of two plots. In this case, two deeds have been signed. The first is between Amitabh, Jaya and Shweta which has been signed for plot number 14. Here ‘Pratiksha’ bungalow is built in Vitthalnagar Co-operative Housing Society Limited, JVPD Scheme, Juhu. It is built in 890.47 square meters. Along with it, ‘Prateeksha’ is also built in plot number 15. It covers an area of 674 square meters. The deed of plot number 15 has been signed between Amitabh and Shweta. So in this way the total area is 1564 square meters.
Shweta became the new mistress
Shweta Nanda was born on 17 March 1974. Shweta married businessman Nikhil Nanda on 16 February 1997. They have two children Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda. Now Shweta has become the new owner of ‘Prateeksha’. If we talk about the market value of the bungalow, it is said to be Rs 50.63 crore. However, this pricing is not confirmed. Earlier, Amitabh used to live in this bungalow with his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan and mother Teji Bachchan.
