SBI Clerk Notification 2023: A wonderful opportunity has come for the candidates wishing to get a job in a government bank. There are bumper recruitments for clerks in State Bank of India, the country’s largest government bank. SBI has issued a notification inviting online applications for recruitment to Junior Associate posts in Clerical Cadre. Total 8238 vacancies are available.

SBI CLERK POST DETAIL AND ELIGIBILITY

A total of 8238 vacancies are available, in which 3515 posts are reserved for General, 1284 for SC, 748 for ST, 1919 for OBC and 817 for EWS.

Graduation pass candidates can apply for SBI Clerk Recruitment. Also, students who are in final year are also eligible to apply. The age of the candidates should be 20 to 28 years , Age Limit: (As on 01.04.2023). Relaxation in the maximum age limit will also be given to reserved category candidates.

The online application period for the posts will remain till 7th December. Candidates will have to apply by visiting the official website sbi.co.in. Note that candidates can apply for only one state. Also, you should have knowledge of the local language of that state.

Selection Process

Under SBI Clerk Recruitment, candidates will have to clear Prelims and Mains exam. The preliminary exam will be of 100 marks, for which 1 hour time will be given. Whereas in the Mains exam there will be 190 questions of 200 marks, for which the time will be 2 hours 40 minutes.

The starting basic pay is Rs19,900 and Rs 17,900 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates. Applicants belonging to general, OBC, EWS categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 750 and those under reserved category will be exempted from paying any fee.

SBI Clerk Notification 2023 Preliminary Examination

The Online Preliminary Exam consists of Objective Tests for 100 marks and will be conducted online. The test duration is 1 hour and consists of three sections.

• Each test has a separate timing, as mentioned above.
• Negative marks (1/4th of the mark assigned for the question) will be deducted for wrong answers in the Objective tests.
